Business funding questions, answered

The questions owners actually ask, including the awkward ones.

How this works, what it costs, and why applying commits you to nothing.

  • No hard credit pull
  • Clear terms before you sign
  • No obligation application

About Berkley

A broker, and that works in your favor. Berkley Financial Group LLC is an independent sales organization. We don’t fund deals or set terms. We take one application to third-party funders who do both, then bring the offers back to you.

One application through us reaches several funders at once, so you compare real offers side by side instead of applying over and over. If going direct is the better move for you, we’ll tell you.

Enough to give your file real options. We’ll tell you which of our funders work with businesses like yours and why, because fit matters more than a headline number.

We’re a broker, not a lender, so we arrange your funding rather than issue it. Our funding partners handle their own licensing in the states where they operate.

Qualifying

A year in business, $25,000 a month through a business account, and credit around 600. Those are starting points, not hard gates. Strong numbers in one place often carry a soft spot in another, so apply and let us look.

No. We start with your numbers, and any check at that stage is a soft pull. If a funder needs a hard inquiry later, you’ll know before it happens.

Often, yes. Funders weigh your deposits, revenue and time in business more heavily than your score, and a lower score mostly shows up in pricing. Apply and we’ll show you where you stand.

Plenty of funders will still work with you, and we know which ones. An open position changes who we approach, and you’ll get a straight read on the numbers before you decide.

Apply and let us look. Some funders work with businesses under a year and we know which ones. If waiting a couple of months gets you materially better pricing, we’ll say so.

Most industries are a fit. The short list our funders don’t cover is on the restricted industries page, and you’ll know either way in the first conversation.

Cost and terms

You’ll see it in plain dollars: what you receive, what you pay back in total, and what leaves your account each week. Pricing is set on your numbers, so we quote once we’ve seen them.

A multiplier, not an interest rate. A factor rate of 1.30 on $100,000 means you remit $130,000. It doesn’t compare directly to an APR. See what is a factor rate.

Fixed amounts pulled from your business account, daily or weekly, set at closing. Weekly is easier on cash flow and worth asking for. We ask for you.

Many funders discount early payoff, and some do it meaningfully. We ask that question on every offer, so you know the number before you sign.

Usually, and it’s routine. A UCC-1 is a public notice that a funder has an interest in your receivables. It isn’t a lien on your property and it isn’t a judgment. See what is a UCC filing.

Process

The short application and three months of bank statements. About three minutes. A voided check and ID come after we’ve talked.

No. Download three months of statements as PDFs and attach them. We don’t need your login and we won’t ask for it.

Apply today and you’ll hear from us today. With clean numbers funding can move in a day or two. Send complete statements up front and you keep it moving.

Not at all. You see what comes back and decide from there. No obligation, either way.

Still have a question?

Call and ask. You’ll talk to someone who can actually answer it.

Apply in minutes. Fast approvals, 24 hour funding.

Berkley Financial Group LLC is a funding brokerage, not a lender. Funding is arranged by Berkley and provided by third-party funders, who make the credit decision and set the terms. Not a commitment to fund. All financing subject to the funder’s approval.
