How our text messaging program works, how to opt in, and how to stop.

Program name: Berkley Financial Group Alerts
Berkley Financial Group LLC uses text messages to communicate with businesses that have asked us about funding or applied for it.
If you opt in, you may receive text messages about the status of your application or inquiry; documents or information we need from you; appointment and call reminders; updates from a funding partner about your application; and occasional information about our services, if you opted in to receive it.
These terms apply to text messages sent by Berkley Financial Group. They are part of our Terms of Use and should be read with our Privacy Policy.
You can opt in any of these ways:
The consent language on our web forms reads: "By checking this box, you agree to receive text messages from Berkley Financial Group at the mobile number provided. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy."
Consent is not a condition of any purchase, of approval, or of receiving any service from us. You can work with Berkley without agreeing to text messages. If you prefer, we will contact you by phone or email instead.
By opting in you confirm that you are at least 18, that the number is yours or that you are its customary user, and that you are authorized to agree to receive messages at it. If your number changes or is reassigned, tell us at [email protected] or 646-347-2825. After you opt in, we will send one message confirming enrollment.
Message frequency varies based on where you are in the process. You may receive up to 10 messages per month. During an active application you will generally receive more; at other times you may receive none.
Message and data rates may apply. Charges are set by your mobile carrier under your plan and are your responsibility. Check with your carrier if you are unsure what your plan includes.
Berkley is not responsible for charges applied by your carrier, or for messages that are delayed or not delivered. Delivery depends on your carrier and your device, and we cannot guarantee it.
Reply STOP to any message from us to stop receiving text messages.
You may also reply QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or REVOKE. After you send one of these we will send a single message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and then stop sending you text messages. To start again, opt in using any method above.
You can also opt out by emailing [email protected] or calling 646-347-2825. Opting out of text messages does not opt you out of email or phone calls; see Your Choices in our Privacy Policy.
Reply HELP to any message from us for help. We will reply with our contact information and a reminder of how to opt out. You can also reach us at 646-347-2825 or [email protected].
Our messaging program is supported on major United States carriers, including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and their affiliated brands, and on many smaller and regional carriers.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is not guaranteed on any carrier, and carrier support may change without notice.
The information you give us when you opt in is handled under our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell, share, transfer, or otherwise disclose your SMS consent, or the mobile number you gave us for text messaging, to any third party, affiliate, marketing partner, or lead buyer, for any purpose.
Your consent to receive text messages from Berkley Financial Group is used exclusively by Berkley Financial Group. No other company receives the benefit of it.
The only parties that touch your number for messaging are the messaging platform and the carriers that deliver our messages to you. They act on our behalf and may not use your number for any other purpose.
We keep a record of your opt-in and any opt-out so we can honor your choice and demonstrate that we did.
